Our Story
Theta Plastic was founded because of our worries of plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles in the Earth's environment that adversely affects humans, wildlife and their habitat. The cause of plastic pollution is the rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products which overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with them. Plastic overwhelms the world because plastic takes more than 500 years to decompose. One of the effect of plastic pollution is that it has negative effect on our health. One of The solution to combat plastic pollution is to recycle plastic.

Theta Plastic is here to provide that solution. We are here to enable the world to recycle. We collect the used PET plastic and then compress them. After the PET plastic is compressed, it can then be processed to make rPET which can be heated and molded into various shapes.
Our Dream
As we all know, plastic pollution is a huge problem for our planet. At this moment, some people might not be affected by the effects caused by plastic pollution, but in the future we might regret it if we don't stop it now. Stopping plastic pollution might seem like an impossible thing to do because plastic has become an integral part of our life. It is hard to replace plastic because it is cheap, convenient and durable, it is one of the best material in the world. Instead of replacing plastic, one of the solution is to manage the plastic waste.
Our dream is to reduce plastic pollution. One of the way to reduce plastic pollution is by controlling plastic waste. If we can't replace plastic, the least we can do is recycle plastic. By controlling plastic waste, plastic will not just be a single use thing, we can keep on cleaning it and processing it as a recycled raw material. Anderson is the founder of Theta Plastic. He studied international economics and trade at South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. Anderson aims to have an impact on the world and founded Theta Plastic to do that.
